Village Milk: Raw Milk

"Village Milk is a revolutionary offering on the New Zealand market. Village Milk is real milk, sold fresh at the farm. Completely natural and unaltered, Village Milk is collected daily from small herds of happy cows, and is installed in a dispensing machine at the farm where locals (and some not-so-local) come to collect it. The enthusiasm for this real milk has reached fever pitch. People love the taste, they love the health benefits and they love supporting their local farmers."

Today I took my second trip out to Village Milk in Gordonton to stock up on my fresh raw milk for the week. Being only a short drive from where I live it's super convenient to pick some up straight from the farm. This milk is delicious, fresh and pure! It's seriously good, creamy and hasn't troubled me like the lactose in store bought milk.

There are suppliers popping up all over New Zealand so keep checking their website and Facebook page for updates.

The sweet and sour...

  • Tastes so good.
  • Great price for the size and quality.
  • Not far from where I live.
  • You can't beat, fresh, pure and unprocessed.
  • A lot of fun to dispense, it's in a vending machine type dispenser.
  • Supporting locals.
  • Open 7am to 10pm - 7 days a week.
  • Beautiful cows in the paddocks. Bonus!

Empty 1L glass milk bottle, $4. 1L milk $2.50, 2L milk $5. NZ$
