Lush: Whipstick Lip Balm

"For soft, chocolate-orange flavoured lips. Whipstick is made for everyone who can’t have cocoa butter or lanolin in their balms. We make it with a lip-soothing infusion of oats, beautiful almond and wheat germ oils, plus beeswax for waterproofing. If that sounds a bit worthy, worry not; we livened it up with real chocolate, vanilla absolute and orange oil. Delicious and good for you, which is a rare and lovely thing."

Bate, Bate, Chocolate! (sorry, Dora fan here!) This is delicious, chocolatey, thick and moisturising. A lovely lip balm but it doesn't tend to stay on my lips for long it's too good! Definitely want to try some other lip balms from Lush.

The sweet and sour...

  • Thick, buttery lip balm. You can feel the cocoa butter coating/protecting your lips.
  • I always have trouble opening the Lush lip balm tins, grrr.
  • Nice velvety texture.
  • Smells so good, although I didn't pick up there was orange in there!

  1. Yum! This looks so good! Does it go on clear, or does it leave a brown tint?

  4. Sounds good! I've managed to make a beeswax/cocoa butter balm before but a chocolate one would be delish!
